On Friday the 4h of June we are joined by Fabio Cordella from The Wine of Champions for a special edition of our talk show “Cellar Talks”. Dubbed as Football and Wine we will talks about Fabio’s interesting career as a sports director and his world-wide project The Wine of Champions, where he teams up with world class football players and creates their own wines.

About Fabio and The Wine of Champions

Fabio is an illustrious figure in the sport industry, that has embarked on a new adventure; assembling a team of world class football players en pairing them with great wines. The Wine of Champions.

To achieve this his is building a new winery and has access to some of the best vineyards in Italy. Some of his stars include Ronaldinho, Cafu, Wesley Sneijder, Gianluigi Buffon, Roberto Carlos , Ivan Zamorano, Sebastian Frey and many others.

Fabio’s obsession for football and wine transcends into daily operations, whether traversing the globe selling and partnering with new opportunities, or boots on the ground in the his many vineyards tending to a harvest. It’s important to Fabio to stay rooted in the basics of what got him here in the first place, which is producing Italy’s finest tasting wine. 

Wine of Champions would never exist if Fabio didn’t already have a secure foundation in making not just himself but also Italy known for great tasting wine. This extraordinary story is being followed all over the world and we are very happy that he will be joining us in our talk show.
