On Tuesday the 4h of May we are joined by Sarah Puozzo from South and Pepper for a special edition of our talk show “Cellar Talks”. Dubbed as Edizione Pasta we will discover the world of Italian food and wine with Sarah and talk with her about her career and the Italian kitchen.
Italian Food and Wine
No country is so diverse as Italy, when it comes to regional cuisines, grape varieties and wine. Food and wine are in the heart of the Italian culture and so it was only logical that we take a deep-dive into this topic. Together with Sarah we will talk about food-wine pairings and typical dishes and wines, and of course we are going to talk about her impressive resume and experience.
Sarah Puozzo
Our guest for this show is half Belgian and half Italian and lives in the Netherlands. She is internationally recognised when it comes to the Mediterranean cuisine and in particular the Italian one. Sarah has a track record of more than 10 years in the media world, writing and working for international media outlets as well as her own platform (South and Pepper). Next to being active in the media she likes to get her hands dirty and loves to work in the kitchen. With a passion and obsession for food and pastry she wants to help others and inspire them to discover the world of cooking. Sarah is also the founder of the Pasta Academy, in 2020 she graduated as the first alumni in the Benelux with the title Master of Pasta. Next to that she has attended the famous institute Le Cordon Blue in Paris, where she learned the trade of pastry making as a patissier.
We are looking forward to talking to Sarah and learning from her background and about the Italian cuisine. Be sure to tune in on Instagram Live through our Dutch Wine Apprentice account on Tuesday the 4th of May, 19:30h CET.
