Their debut release, Cuvée Alliance Brut Blanc de Blancs, captures both the freshness of Dutch terroir and the spirit of collaboration that defines the estate. Crafted from classic Vitis Vinifera grapes and made using the Méthode Traditionnelle, it reflects a pursuit of quality that feels both timeless and distinctly modern.

About the Winery

Located in the polders of West Brabant, Landgoed Heenwerf is a young, family-run winery founded by Sofie and Marnix. The three-hectare vineyard lies along the stream De Baak, surrounded by farmland that shapes its distinctive microclimate. Planted in 2016 on fertile loam-sand soils, Heenwerf cultivates classic Vitis Vinifera varieties – Chardonnay, Auxerrois, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Gamaret – to craft elegant sparkling wines. Every stage, from soil care to traditional production methods, reflects the family’s passion for authenticity and quality. The name “Heenwerf” embodies both the land and the craftsmanship that turn each bottle into a genuine expression of Dutch terroir.

About the Wine

Cuvée Alliance Brut Blanc de Blancs is the first creation of Landgoed Heenwerf: a wine born from craftsmanship and made with devotion. Made from hand-picked Chardonnay and Auxerrois grapes, this elegant sparkling wine is produced using the Méthode Traditionnelle, with secondary fermentation in the bottle and a 12-month maturation on the lees.

Its pale golden color and refined bubbles reveal aromas of white flowers, crisp green apple, citrus blossom, and delicate brioche. The palate is vibrant yet creamy, balancing freshness with finesse.

The name Alliance symbolizes unity and enduring bonds. The first bottle was opened in November 2020 by founders Sofie and Marnix together with the Lions Club Steenbergen, during their first online tasting, a moment of togetherness in challenging times. Dedicated customers and volunteers continue to embody this spirit, making every bottle a celebration of collaboration and joy.
